Trek Nepal is an owner-operated company comprised of qualified and experienced outdoor professionals. Aside from our vast experience in the field, our team members were born and grew up in the Himalayan mountain region of Nepal thus creating an intrinsic awareness of the mountainous terrain, its inhabitants and culture. The final result is the ability to provide the ultimate experience ensuring maximum safety, pleasure and maintenance for all your needs.

 

Gobardhan Basnet [GOBs] is the founder of Trek Nepal. He started off life as a trekking guide and worked his way up to the senior manager of trekking operations for one of Nepal's largest adventure companies. Starting life as a guide and working his way up to the senior manager of trekking operations for one of Nepal's largest adventure companies; Gobardhan founded Trek Nepal with his long time colleague Resham Lama. He is an extremely experienced person in the field of adventure travel and management. He has traveled widely within Nepal and outside Nepal.

 

 

 

 

Resham Lama has spent more than two decades in the adventure travel trade and tourism industry. He has led treks and expeditions all over Nepal, Tibet and India too. From small beginnings he eventually held the position of senior trek leader at Himalayan Encounters. Running treks and expeditions for other people for a decade, he gets you thinking about all the ways that you can improve the product and the experience of your adventures. He brings to Trek Nepal wholesome experience, safety, and his much acclaimed culinary expertise.

 

 

Sujita Ghale is working with the trek Nepal from quite sometime. She is well educated and well know ledged person. She takes care of the administrative and sales part in our organization.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Roman Dragunov: Originally coming from cold lands of Russia Roman has recently started working within our organization as Sales and Marketing Manager. After finishing his Tourism Management degree in Bournemouth University, known as the #1 new university in the UK, Roman moved to Nepal to continue his career in adventure industry. The company holds strong believe that his skills and enthusiastic nature will expand company’s business and bring it up to international level.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sanjay Chaudhary is working with Trek Nepal as an Accountant from past few years. His abilities to handle accountancy are well appreciated. He maintains all the books of accounts and handles the financial section mostly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Laxman Karki has led countless treks and expeditions throughout Nepal and Tibet. His career in tourism industry started in 1993 as an assistant trekking guide. He has completed rock-climbing courses and loves high altitude running. He gained his proficiency training from the Ministry of Tourism Nepal as a professional trek leader.

 

 

 

 

 

Bharat K.C Khattri comes from the heart Everest Region. He knows the area well including the people, culture, lifestyle, flora and fauna. He has widely traveled within Nepal leading treks and expeditions. He holds his proficiency training from the government of Nepal for his profession.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fatta Khatri has been working with this company from last 8 years. He started his career as an assistant guide in 1995 leading into a senior guide in Trek Nepal. His long experience in this field is very much recognizable by our clients. He has the proficiency training from the Government of Nepal for his trekking guide’s license.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dinesh Karki born in Solykhumbu by the Mt. Everest region. He has started as assistant guide and now works as senior guide of the company from last 6 years. He also holds the proficiency training from the Government of Nepal for his profession. His learning and comforting nature is very much appreciated by our trekkers.

 

 

 

 

 

Taitas Rai (Dawa) hails from Solukhumbu by the Mt. Everest Region. He has spent more then 5 years leading high altitude treks in Nepal. He is a genuine and knowledgeable person of in the tourism field. He has a great respect for eco-tourism and the general welfare of Nepal. He holds his proficiency training from the government of Nepal for his profession. Besides leading treks he enjoys exploring new areas for adventure treks and expeditions.

 

 

 

 

Tashi Chiring Sherpa: Is the genuine guy hailed from Khumjung, Everest region. Well qualified guy, working with Trek Nepal Int’l. He has spent more than 5 years in this trekking and expedition industry. His education and experience in trekking arena is a great asset of the Company and the country too.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pramod Lama: Comes from Makwanpur, village near Kathmandu. He has been to this work of trekking and expedition from last 4 years making his working from the porter to the Assistant Guide. His genuineness and simple attitude will make your trek easy and appreciative.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ganesh Karki citizen of Solukhumbu, Mt. Everest region. He has begun his career as a Porter 4 years ago. Through his learning attitude and well knowledge regarding all the trekking area & expeditions he has made his way to the Assistant guide. He has received most of the necessary training provided by Nepal Government for trekking guides and porters.

 

 

 

 

 

Tashi Sherpa: is from Solukkhumbu by the famous Mt. Everest region. He started his work more than 5 years ago as Porter/ Assistant Guide. His smiling attitude and good knowledge in trekking area are very much distinct then the others. His good knowledge will make your walk more comfortable.

 

 

Sameer Tamang: Working with the Trek Nepal Int’l from last 6 years he has made his way from the Porter to the Guide. With the good experience in the trekking and expedition field he has gained well knowledge. His trekking skill is very much helpful for the company and the trekkers.

 

 

Tika Karki: Hailed from Makawanpur, he is working with our organization from last 3 years as an assistant guide.

 

 

Kiran Lama: Working with Trek Nepal as an Assistant guide/ Porter from last 2 years. His good attitude and friendly nature is very good for the trek. His experience with the trekking is well recognized.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shyam Gurung: He has started his career as a porter cum Assistant guide of the company from quite a time. His smiling and happy attitude with learning nature will help the trek and expedition interesting and memorable.
