Everest Region, Nepal

Containing three of the world’s seven highest mountains: Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and Mount Everest, the Solu Khumbu region has become one of the most well trodden routes in Nepal. Winding up through the mountain countryside the vertical limits of your imagination will be tested as you feel your senses expanding vertically from valley to blue sky. High mountain pastures dotted with turquoise lakes combine with deep gorges and glacier ice flows. Feel the wide expanse of blue sky, ringed with snow capped peaks, as you sit on a windswept rock at Everest Base Camp and feel yourself almost on Top of the World.

The Sherpas are renowned the world over for their good humour, strength, endurance, and mountaineering skills. Climb through the Everest region with your hospitable and rambunctious Sherpa guides and porters, stopping at night to drink tungba, homemade millet beer, and enjoy the traditional dance and song of these proud people. Why not take a spin around the floor yourself!

Trek Nepal offers three exciting treks into this region, including Everest Base Camp, Everest Panorama, and Everest via Gokyo.
