Difficulty:

Strenuous trekking to altitudes of 3000 m/10000 ft - 4000 m/13000 ft for up to 7 hours a day, sometimes including excursions or pass crossings up to 5000 m/16500 ft. Some pre-trek training is advisable. Hill walking experience, a reasonably fit body and good stamina are essential for these kinds of treks.

Your adventure begins in Lhasa where you get ample time to acclimatize and to absorb the exoticism of Tibetan cultural heritage. As you are guided around the most significant and ancient monasteries of Lhasa, Gyantse and Shigatse, an expert Tibetan guide will show you what it really means to be in Tibet. This tour offers stunning views of Everest and many other high mountain peaks. You can also drive to Everest Base Camp via Jeep.

Day 01 - Fly to Lhasa and transfer to airport. O/nt at htl Lhasa.

Day 02 - Lhasa Sightseeing

Day 03 - Drive to Gyants via the Karo La (5010m.), kamba La pass (4794m.) and Yamdrok Tso La Lake. O/nt at Hotel Gyantse.

Day 04 - Visit Kathmandu stupa & Phalkor Monstery. Proceed to shigatse visiting shalu Monstery enroute. PM: sightseeing tour of The Tashilumpo Monstery & the free Tibetan market. O/nt at Htl Shigatse.

Day 05 - Drive to old Tingri. O/nt htl Snow Leopard.

Day 06 - Excursion to the severest base Camp. O/nt in Rongbuk.

Day 07 - Drive to old Tangri. O/nt at Htl Snow Leopard.

Day 08 - Drive to Nyalamu. You can visit the Milarepa's Cave Tibet's famous Tantric Saint. O/nt htl snowlion.

Day 09 - Drive to Zhangmu and exit to Katmandu.

Cost Includes:

International & domestic airport transfers as per the itinerary.

Cost Excludes:

International air fare to/ from Nepal.
Lunch and dinner prior to the trek, please allow US$ 20 per day.
Meals at airports and whilst in Kathmandu/ Pokhara - allow $20 per day.
Entry Visa fees - at present $25 for 15 day, US$ 40 for 30 day, and US$ 100 for three month visa on entry into Nepal.
Insurance which covers, medical, emergency evacuation, lost, theft expenses.
Drinks: both alcoholic and bottled other than sterilized drinking water.
Laundry fees.
All foods and beverages other than on the itinerary.
