This is an outstanding trek in eastern Nepal. The trek to Makalu Base Camp visits one of the most remote and unfrequented areas in Nepal. The length of this trek and the unspoiled terrain it explores makes the Sherpani Col La trek a true classic.  One has to be physically fit as this trek is graded adventurous, reaching as high as 6,110m. Magnificent landscapes, imposing & prestigious peaks, tapering ridges & colourful villages contribute to turning this trek into an unforgettable experience. High Mountain pastures often dotted with turquoise lakes combined with deep gorges & glacier ice make you feel like you are on 'top of the world'.

This is also the homeland of Sherpas, people renowned world over for their good humor, hospitality, strength & exceptional mountaineering skills.
